Presentation of the Barrel at the United Nations Humanitarian Response Depot in Brindisi. The visit to the UN Humanitarian Emergency Response Base (UNHRD) and the United Nations Global Services Center at Brindisi Airport. The first base of its kind, established by the United Nations and financed by Italy since 2000, UNHRD offers international logistics services and emergency aid to respond to humanitarian crises around the world, thanks to its Humanitarian Response Depot. The Center for Global Services instead guarantees support for UN peace operations in the world, of which Italy is the seventh contributing country.
